You are never safe, even in the winter!

Winter is coming and are you prepared? All I can say is that you can not run fast enough even in the winter time! HAHA! One thing I can tell you, is that Tactical Concealment has all version of camouflage you can dream of.  They are a company of war I would say.  Check out their misfit toys below with something that no one would ever think about.

The ARCTIC Viper

The ARCTIC Viper is constructed from the InVista Supplex fabric. It is extremely lightweight and very tear resistant. Ghillie garnish and natural foliage can be tied/inserted into the 550 cord wide-grid spacing.

The “Assaulter’s” Ghillie

Whether you’re an assaulter or sniper the benefit of suppressing your visual presence to the enemy is extremely important. Tactical Concealment’s Viper is a new high-speed garment designed not just for snipers but for any operator who can benefit from having a tactical edge toward visual based camouflage/concealment. Specific to this type of operator is that the Viper is designed to be worn in conjunction and work in unison with combat loadout equipment including tactical vests, armored plate carriers, assault vests and any size backpack. Any tactical operator can now achieve the camouflage/concealment effectiveness of a sniper and his ghillie suit but scaled into a package that is practical and suited toward the working needs and working requirements of an assaulter.

Can you see the white sticks out.

All Viper models are the exact same in shape and size, only difference is the base fabric used for garment construction, nylon cord grid work spacing and a few other smaller features.

Now, let’s start by pulling it together!

Let’s begin with getting a white sheet.  Now you do not want a bright white sheet.  The reason why is because snow believe it or not bright white.  Get like a off white and then dirty it up a little.  It needs to blend.  As you can see in my picture

Now, I measured a section of the sheet to about 22 inches.  Why 22 inches?  Well have you ever seen long strains that looks unnecessary?  I have (see picture below).  Honestly you can use whatever size you feel comfortable.  I feel 22 inches would be the best.

Longer strains would just get into the way or really un unnecessary I believe.  I went ahead and made one with longer strains so you can see.  But like I said, your choice

Moving on.  Anyways let’s understand that this is not jute so we can change the size.  Does it matter? Well it depends if you want to spray paint some browns and greens in certain areas, which I do so I want different depths.  As you can see in the picture I have smalls, mediums and thicker ones.

Now getting it into place!  Do we need to actually cover it all over like a ghillies monster?  It’s snow?  Me? I personally like to use a lot because I will be coloring some of it with green and brown spray paint in small areas.  Have you ever seen a bush in snow?  That’s how I am making mine look

Take one strain and slide it under the sewn area like so.

and then tie it on.

As you can see, I have started with the larger size and working my way done to the smaller size.  It breaks up the snow! (hahaha)  It only help with breaking up the contrast.

If you like to, you can add a few of light green and grey to the white.  That way if you are in bushes, next to rocks and etc. you can have that little color.  Remember – never add to much dark, because you can never go lighter.

After ordering from Tactical concealment and putting yours together, let’s see your picture.  Add a comment.

Until next time…..
